15" 500 Watt 2 Way Full Range Loudspeaker
S-Series is a family of affordable, linear response loudspeakers designed for use in applications requiring controlled coverage patterns, high-impact power response, with clear and intelligible sonic output. All models are designed with portability in mind, but they are equally effective in permanent or semi-permanent installations. S-Series loudspeakers are flexible, easy to set up and use, and most importantly they provide superb sound quality.
S-Series consists of four portable full-range models and two subwoofers, all featuring low distortion, high-impact sonic capability, and durable construction. The S-1596 is a two-way, 15-inch, full-range loudspeaker with a well-defined 90 x 60 degree coverage pattern.
S-Series is ideal for live sound, club systems, public address, and mobile DJ rigs. All S-Series models feature durable Birch plywood enclosures, integrated speaker cups, protective steel grilles, linear phase crossovers, DYNA-TECH protection circuitry, seat track rigging, and Easy-Grip handles. Full-range loudspeakers include a passive/bi-amp selection switch and music/speech presence switch to accommodate the acoustical conditions of the venue. Subwoofer systems feature a high-pass output switch for seamless integration with the full-range models. All S-Series models are precision engineered, both acoustically and structurally, to perform night after night.
