Designed in the UK by world renowned guitar designer Trev Wilkinson, using revolutionary Pearl & Sparkle materials with new application techniques, Italia's have all the Retro looks of the most outrageous 60’s designs combined with 21st Century build & sound quality.  Italia guitars feature Wilkinson-designed hardware & pickups, making them play and sound as good as they look –  Italia guitars are truly in a class of their own.

The Maranello '61 Guitar features a spruce top and mahogany back and sides. A mahogany set-in neck with rosewood fingerboard, 2 Wilkinson humbucker pickups and a vintage vibrato bridge have looks and sound to spare!

Echoing one of the most collectible and rare '60s guitars, but with sound and playability demanded by today's musician. If you dare to be different, this is the guitar for you.

WVC Pickup

Nickel silver covers were discontinued on most Humbuckers early in the sixties due to the difficulty of polishing, plating, and expense. When brass was substituted, guitarists started removing the covers to regain the high frequencies that brass tends to mask, leading to the open coil look. Nickel covers not only give superior tone but look great too.
